The most interesting part of this vedio is the design process of the scooter (suited to conditions in India).Richard Seymour and Dick Powell looked back to the India culture,its life and physical needs.By considering many aspect, they've got their final product.The reason why they did the research is trying to find the idea which is exciting enough to its target market.The ability of finding this sort ideas must be the basic element of how to be a succeed designer.

Another part inspired me a lot is the X factor,"the initial impact the products has upon the comsumer when it is first seen.The way we should learn to our product is how to catch the eye sight of the client.

Before i watched this vedio, i did not really understand why we need to do the eco design.even though noticed wasting is a problem , i could never realize how serious the problem is . The most incrediable example is radio which just cost $4.99.However, the externalized true cost for this product is losing the nature resources and the clean air,rasing the cancer rate even our further generations.As Annie said“People created it, we’re people, so let’s create something new” .As a designer , we should shoulder the resposibility of doing eco-design as much as we can.In other hand, it is better to educate the public thinking more about the environment rather than how to be more fashion by buying a bunch of stuffs.

Aboviously,the inspiration of design comes from the nature.As an designer,who is also a "translator of techonolgy into the products",needs to pay much more attention of the nature and think more about how can we feel about that.Ross thought about the water and drew it as his impassion of "water".Someday,he created a bottle .it means a lot even unsucceed.

Natural growing patterns,the most amzing beauty, create more opportunity of the products as the hole chair, the stairs and so on.What i learned form thish vedio is to think for the natrue.People are suprised from the nature of which could touch people's soul.As a designer,we should shoulder the responsiblity of showing this kind of the art form for the public though the techonolgy we learned.In this way, people could feel much more calm, happiness for the daily lives.

My product is a cake cutter which aims to create more enriching experience in cutting the cake.It solves the problems of taking the slice into your plate with the cutter, cutting both big or small cakes and even providing an opportunity of sharing the happiness and enjoyable moment with your friends or lover by holding two handles and cutting toghter .
